Yoon Jong-hoon of 'Penthouse' to Marry Actress Han Eun-seo After 8 Years of Dating

Korean actor Yoon Jong-hoon (윤종훈), known for his role as Dr. Ha in the hit drama “Penthouse,” is set to marry. He announced his marriage to actress Han Eun-seo (한은서), who is 10 years his junior, and shared his joy and feelings with fans in a personal letter.

Yoon’s agency, YK Media Plus, announced on the 7th that Yoon Jong-hoon and Han Eun-seo will hold their wedding on November 1st at a venue in Gangnam, Seoul. Yoon, born in 1984, is 40 years old, while Han, born in 1994, is 30, making them 10 years apart in age.

Yoon also uploaded a handwritten letter to his fan club on the same day, personally announcing the happy news. He wrote, “First, I agonized for a long time about how to tell you all this news, and finally picked up my pen.”

He continued, “I met a precious person, and now I will walk through life with that person.” After a long period of cherishing, understanding, and working together, the couple decided to embrace “marriage” as a new stage in their lives. Yoon also specifically expressed his feelings to his fans: “I wanted to tell my Barami fans about this important moment in my life first.”

Speaking about his feelings on becoming a husband, he admitted that he also felt a greater sense of responsibility: “From now on, I will live more responsibly as a husband and as actor Yoon Jong-hoon.” He also promised, “Although I always say this to everyone, I will continue to work hard to become a good actor and a better person.”

Furthermore, Yoon also shared his feelings about entering a new phase of life: “Now, my life is about to begin another new chapter, and I feel both excited and a heavy sense of responsibility.”

He also addressed his fans who have supported him throughout, stating that he will continue to stay in touch with them in the future: “I will appear before you as usual at the end of every month. Let’s continue to talk about our life stories together.”

Reportedly, Yoon Jong-hoon and Han Eun-seo first met in 2018 while working on the SBS drama “Return.” The two later developed a romantic relationship and have been dating for a long time.

Han Eun-seo debuted as a child actress in 2008, playing the role of Grand Prince Seongnyeong’s wife in the KBS 2TV drama “King Sejong the Great.” She subsequently appeared in works such as “Will It Snow for Christmas?”, “High Kick! Revenge of the Short Legged,” “Ghost,” and “Golden Tower.”

She also played Yoon Jung-in in “That Woman’s Sea” and Han Ki-joo in “The Hymn of Death,” continuously building her acting portfolio.

Yoon Jong-hoon debuted in 2013 through the tvN drama “Monstar,” and gradually gained recognition by appearing in works such as “Reply 1994,” “Misaeng,” and “Return.”

He rose to popularity for his role as Ha Yoon-cheol in the hit SBS drama series “Penthouse,” which garnered him significant audience love. He later appeared in “The Escape of the Seven” and “The Resurrection of the Seven,” and is currently playing Go Je in the KBS 1TV daily drama “Our Happy Days.”
