On October 31, Yuri hosted a Q&A session on her personal social media, interacting with fans. During the session, one netizen left a critical comment: "The good reaction to 'Hyori Show' doesn't mean the general public likes it; it's limited to former Girls' Generation fans. Please recognize reality and know your place."
Instead of explaining or refuting the blunt comment, Yuri directly screenshotted the message and posted it to her Instagram Story, confronting the criticism head-on.
Even more surprisingly, she didn't add any text to retort. Instead, she posted a comical photo of child star Choo Sarang (추사랑) picking her nose on a show, using humor to respond to the hater and adding a lighthearted touch to the incident.
The "Hyori Show" (효리쇼) concept originated from Kim Hyoyeon's (김효연) personal YouTube channel, "Hyo's Level Up," as a "Fake Kim Hyoyeon" project. In the project, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Choi Sooyoung (최수영) competed for positions such as main vocalist and center, garnering attention for their engaging interactions.
As discussions around "Hyori Show" continued to grow, the three members officially launched music as a project group. Their first single, "Skibidi," was released on October 31 at 6 p.m. KST, marking their official activities.
