BTS's RM Appointed as Public Relations Ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Excavation Unit

BTS leader RM has been appointed as the public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Excavation Unit. This unit, established in 2000 and later becoming an independent organization under the Ministry of National Defense in 2007, focuses on excavating the remains of fallen soldiers from the Korean War and ensuring their return to their families. RM's role as ambassador will involve promoting the excavation project and raising public awareness about the unit's efforts.

The Excavation Unit not only deals with the remains of Korean and UN soldiers but also aims to identify and repatriate or temporarily bury the remains of Chinese or North Korean soldiers for humanitarian reasons. RM's appointment as the public relations ambassador is seen as a significant contribution to public service.
