Throughout FIFTY FIFTY's lawsuit with their agency ATTRAKT, the members' recent condition has been reported. On July 7, YouTuber Lee Jinho posted a video about FIFTY FIFTY's current issue. Lee Jinho, a former entertainment reporter, said that there are many misunderstandings regarding this issue.
He suggested the wisest method at this point is to reconcile with the members and proceed with their promotions. Their schedules in different countries were already planned until next month, but they can't work it out due to this issue. He pointed out that the CEO should prepare for his biggest loss.
The Entertainment Reporter turned YouTuber stated that FIFTY FIFTY's company had no money and he did his very best but it turned out this way. FIFTY FIFTY's lawyer claimed that the agency was incompetent and as a result, this argument became hard to understand.
"ATTRAKT went all in, and this investment led to success." Lee Jinho said. The CEO wanted to make a successful girl group after seeing the success of BTS. Therefore, FIFTY FIFTY's target market was the U.S. ever since. The CEO felt competitive for the first time after seeing the members follow An Sung-il as they prepare their songs. It was said that he trusted An Sung-il but it felt strange that the members trusted An more than him, so he applied for a trademark.
Lee Jinho reported that the members' recent condition declined a lot. They keep on crying, especially with the trademark issue. On June 19, their parents applied for trademark rights but it was said that it will be a disadvantage in the court since it will turn out that they just want to make a team by themselves.
"When I looked into it, the members said they have no idea. Their parents did it without consulting the members." Lee Jinho stated. He added, "I'm careful, but the members have never appealed to the agency due to settlement issues. Then suddenly, a proof of contents came."
Netizens are still divided regarding this issue since no one really knows what's going to happen next. After all, FIFTY FIFTY's songs continue to dominate the charts even after what happened.
