(G)I-DLE Yuqi's comments stir up controversy again, Taiwanese fans criticize her for being inconsiderate! Korean netizens: It's not the first time.

The popular girl group (G)I-DLE's member Song Yuqi is highly attractive and her outspoken personality often sparks controversy. Recently, Yuqi was criticized by netizens again for her comments during an interview on a Chinese TV show.
On the 18th, a hot discussion post titled "Yuqi leaving a message for Taiwanese fans during her interview in a Chinese variety show” appeared on online discussion forums. The post mentioned that Yuqi from girl group (G)I-DLE participated in the Chinese version of "Running Man".
The show's PD asked Yuki to say a word to Chinese fans, and Yuki replied: "(G)I-DLE plans to hold concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and we will prepare some surprises for everyone."
Although Yuqi didn't explicitly mention "China" initially, but the context was clearly meant for Chinese fans. However, she referred to Taiwan and Hong Kong instances, essentially acknowledging Taiwan and Hong Kong as part of China.
And the issue is that (G)I-DLE also has a Taiwanese member Shuhua, who has so far not stated any position on China, which often leads to her being berated by Weibo users for her Taiwanese identity, and subjected to political scrutiny.
Therefore, after the variety show content was released, Taiwanese fans felt regretful that Yukyung was not considerate towards her fellow group member Shuhua. Upon learning this, Korean netizens began saying, "This isn't the first time Yukyung has acted this way," and "Hasn't she brought up sensitive topics due to nationality issues towards members of Taiwanese origin before?"
In English, the Korean sentences can be translated as, "Oh my, it really is troublesome whenever there are Chinese members in any group," "Yuki has always been rash, and she's a kid with strong Chinese thinking," "What on earth is CUBE thinking? How could they put Chinese and Taiwanese members in the same group XD", "She really is the person who ruins the goodwill of (G)I-DLE", "No, there's also a Taiwanese member in the team, how can you say that?" etc., and these are being hotly debated.
