ZERO BASE ONE (ZB1), a special group created through the MNET audition program "BoysPlanet," not only achieved instant popularity upon their debut but also leveraged the show's success, amassing an impressive 1.24 million album sales.
Following the conclusion of their song and album promotional activities, ZB1 embarked on a diverse range of endeavors, including appearances on TV shows, group and individual variety shows, as well as engaging in significant brand endorsements. Their schedule could be described as rather hectic.
Nonetheless, many fans observed a decline in group activities after the album promotion concluded, with a gradual shift toward more individual pursuits. This led fans to speculate that certain members may have been receiving less attention, resulting in noticeable gaps in their schedules.

On the 8th, ZB1 fans took the initiative to organize a truck demonstration outside the agency WAKE ONE, voicing their concerns about the uneven distribution of members' schedules. The protest featured messages such as "Please don't drive away fans" and "Ensure group variety show opportunities, don't concentrate everything on one individual."

Even fans have compiled a list of the individual schedules of the nine ZB1 members since their debut, revealing a significant disparity. Some members have as many as 11 individual schedules, while the member with the fewest has only one group schedule.
Fans protesting against this issue are advocating for equal opportunities for all nine members to develop within the group. They are requesting more than just interviews and hope for the company to provide the group with their own variety shows or programs, thereby reducing the situation where resources are primarily allocated to a single member.

The exposure of the discussion paper quickly became a hot topic in South Korea, triggering heated debates among numerous netizens. Some expressed views like, "Producing a group variety show is costly; why would the company invest in a limited group?" and "Isn't CJ known for this approach? If they want to promote someone, they'll keep pushing them."
Others mentioned, "Ranking is just for entertainment," and "Considering there are six Koreans in the group, can't the other members' agencies advocate for them? It's dismissive." However, some netizens also pointed out, "The issue might be that even if they want to promote Chinese members, their Korean language skills might not be proficient enough for hosting or MC roles. Hence, they might naturally opt for Korean members."
Additionally, they brought up the example of Wanna One's schedule distribution, stating, "Wanna One's centre position had the most schedules, but now that it's occupied by a Chinese member, the second place gets promoted instead."
