iKON's BOBBY speaks up for former leader B.I!

iKON member BOBBY posted a photo on SNS on the 11th, supporting former team leader B.I through his comments and conveyed his thoughts to the fans.

BOBBY stated on Instagram, "B.I is my brother, so I can genuinely sense the fans' sentiments. Despite B.I's past mistakes, the love for him remains steadfast. B.I is aware of his wrongdoings. Let's not forget that B.I is a good person; let's grant him an opportunity to reveal his positive side. Forgiveness is one of the most noble acts a person can perform."

BOBBY continued, saying, "It's not about supporting a group of seven or six, nor is it about taking sides. I empathize with the fans, so please let's put an end to this argument."

In response to fans who expressed their pain due to B.I and reacted to BOBBY's statements, BOBBY replied, "Honestly, all I feel is gratitude for iKONIC. I understand just how much our iKONICs are suffering, shedding real tears for us, losing their appetite day by day... making every effort to support and love us in any way they can."

He went on to say, "It's not that we're condoning the actions of the individual, but as members of iKON, we still have sentiments towards that friend, someone we shared our lives with. I'm sorry, I wholeheartedly apologize. I'm well aware of the tremendous effort iKONICs have put into supporting iKON and creating a positive image. I genuinely believe that you should all be focused on caring for one another. Seeing you argue and fight deeply saddens me."

In 2021, B.I received a three-year suspended sentence, with a four-year probation period, following his conviction on drug-related charges, which resulted in his departure from iKON. iKON subsequently continued as a six-member group, while B.I embarked on his solo career.
