SF9's popular member Ro Woon, today, uploaded a handwritten letter on SF9's fan club announcing his withdrawal from group activities. He revealed that he "wants to muster the courage to take on new challenges," simultaneously expressing his feelings about leaving the group.

After the expiration of his exclusive contract with FNC Entertainment, Ro Woon chose to leave the group, while the other eight members of SF9 have chosen to renew their contracts with the company. SF9 will then re-adjust and continue their activities as an eight-member group.

Ro Woon also shared his future aspirations, stating: "I'm currently 27 years old, and I'm eager to explore new avenues. I'm not quite certain how to put it into words or where to commence; I'm feeling somewhat bewildered... Nevertheless, I'm determined to gather the courage to declare to all of you that there are fresh challenges on the horizon." He went on to reveal his intention to prioritize his acting career in the days ahead.
