In the past 7 days, a post titled "Planning to attack aespa's Winter who is leaving the country on the 8th with a weapon" uploaded by a certain netizen on a female artist forum in an online community in Korea has drawn attention and discussions. However, the original post was deleted after the heated discussions but it quickly went viral on other online forums, leading some netizens to report directly to the police.
Upon seeing this article on the online community, The QOO, many netizens left comments such as "It seems like the world has gone mad!", "This is really scary!!", and "Immediate action is needed!!", showing strong reactions. Later, Korean media reached out to aespa's management company SM Entertainment, but did not receive any response.
On the other hand, the four members of aespa departed from Incheon International Airport's Terminal 1 on the 8th to attend the renowned 'Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival' in the United States.
