Lee Chan-hyuk (이찬혁), a member of South Korean sibling duo AKMU, was previously embroiled in dating rumors with model and actress Ha Ji-soo (하지수). At the time, neither party directly addressed the speculation. Recently, however, the two appeared together again on MBC's variety show "Omniscient Interfering View" (전지적 참견 시점). They not only swing danced together but were also filmed holding hands during the activity, bringing their past dating rumors back into the spotlight and sparking renewed public curiosity about Ha Ji-soo's current status and career.
The episode of "Omniscient Interfering View," which aired on October 31, showcased the daily lives of AKMU siblings Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun (이수현), as well as the interior of their newly established independent label, "Ingamui Saemteo" (영감의 샘터), which translates to "Spring of Inspiration."
On the show, after finishing a company meeting, Lee Chan-hyuk headed to a swing dance studio for a special "Sports Day" organized by his company. He explained that he designed this welfare activity so employees could relieve stress by learning to dance outside of work. Besides Lee Su-hyun, dancers and band members who participated in AKMU's music video for "Love Lee" also attended.
Unexpectedly, an uninvited guest appeared during the swing dance class, immediately catching viewers' attention: Ha Ji-soo, who had previously been rumored to be dating Lee Chan-hyuk. Participants rotated dance partners that day, and Lee Chan-hyuk and Ha Ji-soo happened to be paired together. The footage showed them smiling at each other and naturally holding hands, dancing to the instructor's rhythm. At one point, Lee Chan-hyuk was even filmed holding Ha Ji-soo's hand and leaning to the side in sync with the dance steps.

Although their interaction was a normal part of the dance class, given their past dating rumors, their reunion and dancing hand-in-hand inevitably led the public to revisit the old relationship speculation.
In fact, their connection dates back three years. Ha Ji-soo appeared in the music video for "Dance," one of the double title tracks from Lee Chan-hyuk's June 2023 project album "Umbrella." In the video, she played Lee Chan-hyuk's lover. The two were seen running hand-in-hand and dancing together in a vast field, creating a sweet and innocent couple's atmosphere. Many netizens, after watching, couldn't help but wonder if their on-screen chemistry had become real, sparking heated discussions at the time.

By January 2025, rumors of a private relationship between the two further intensified. Korean media reported at the time that Lee Chan-hyuk and Ha Ji-soo had grown close through their music video collaboration and had been dating for over a year. However, regarding the dating rumors, neither party ever confirmed nor denied them. YG Entertainment, Lee Chan-hyuk's agency at the time, and Ha Ji-soo's representatives both discreetly stated, "This is the artist's private life, so it is difficult to confirm."
Despite the dating rumors, their professional collaboration did not cease. Ha Ji-soo appeared again in April of this year in the music video for AKMU's pre-release track "Love Lee" from their 4th full-length album. Her agency confirmed her participation but also clarified that this was not a formal engagement through the agency; rather, Ha Ji-soo participated in the filming in her personal capacity.

From music video collaborations to dating rumors, and now appearing together on a variety show, their consecutive joint appearances have once again made their past scandal a hot topic. Especially with the recent interaction of holding hands and dancing, netizens can't help but speculate about their current relationship.
Meanwhile, Lee Chan-hyuk's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment ended late last year, and he established his independent label "Ingamui Saemteo" earlier this year. He continues to be active in music creation with his sister Lee Su-hyun as AKMU.
Ha Ji-soo, born in 1995, is one year older than Lee Chan-hyuk and works as a model and actress. She entered the entertainment industry in 2018 by appearing in Stella Jang's music video for "I GO." She subsequently participated in short films like "I Like Mint Chocolate" and ANDNEW's music video for "Wendy," gradually gaining recognition for her distinctive appearance and unique aura.
