First artist: Taeyeon – "Dinner Song"
Second artist: Hanroro – "A Cruel Angel's Thesis"

According to music industry sources on the 5th, AKMU's Lee Su-hyun (이수현) will be the third vocalist to participate in the J-Pop Remake project, which began in June. She has been selected as the featured artist for the third track, following Taeyeon (태연) and Hanroro (한로로), and reportedly completed recording recently.

With the addition of Lee, a prominent Korean singer, anticipation for the J-Pop Remake project has grown. Lee is known for her unique musical color, effortlessly transitioning between head and chest voice, and her emotional and mature charm. Fans are curious to see which song she will interpret and what kind of synergy she will create.

                                                                 Korean Netizen Comments

1. Taeyeon sang it well, I listened to it, but the Korean translated lyrics felt a bit forced. After hearing Hanroro's song, I knew it wasn't for me. If you like it, listen; if not, don't.
2. Such a precious voice, why sing these kinds of songs? ㅠㅠㅠ
3. I remember she sang Official Hige Dandism songs before, so she should do well.

4. These are singers I really like, but why cover J-Pop? Why use Korean singers to promote J-Pop?
5. There must be market demand for such a project. It seems like a lot of people are starting to mindlessly criticize.
6. I heard she's singing "Blue Lagoon." I hope she sings it beautifully.

7. I knew Lee Su-hyun liked J-Pop from watching "MMTG" before. I think she has a high understanding of these songs, so I'm super excited.
8. I really like J-Pop covers, most of the time Korean singers perform them better, haha.
9. Is this some kind of "saving outdated J-Pop" project? Who is organizing this? I really don't understand.

10. Starting with Taeyeon, then Hanroro, and now Lee Su-hyun – this lineup is truly amazing.
11. The lineup is too luxurious…
12. After Kangnam naturalized as a Korean citizen, he's really actively promoting Japan, haha. Why did he even naturalize?

13. Those who say they don't want to promote Japanese culture, please also stop eating udon, sushi, omakase, ramen, and tonkatsu.
14. AKMU's Lee Su-hyun already loves J-Pop and Japanese culture. What's there to argue about?
15. I just found out Kangnam is behind this. If you only look at the reposted content, you'd really misunderstand it as an official Japanese project, which made me a bit uncomfortable. However, even if Kangnam is leading it, it doesn't completely rule out the possibility that it's not an official Japanese project.

16. This lineup is truly divine; it feels like a completely different world. I wouldn't even dare to hope my idol would participate.
17. Anyway, it's a different genre. If you don't want to listen, just don't, as long as they don't keep emphasizing it's J-Pop.
18. Oh! I listen to J-Pop often, so I'm really looking forward to this.

19. I don't usually listen to J-Pop and don't have much interest, but weren't many people on Theqoo following J-Pop and J-idols back then? Or am I mistaken? Why is everyone arguing so much now?
20. I hope they don't cover YOASOBI songs. I'd prefer something like "Taisho Roman."
21. Anyway, I won't be consuming it, so whatever they do is fine. Constantly demanding not to do this or that is a form of censorship and restriction of freedom. Of course, if the song itself or the original singer is controversial, I would be disappointed.

22. Isn't it just covering good songs? What's the problem?
23. Her vocal tone is very clear, which seems well-suited for Japanese songs that tend to be higher pitched.
24. If you compare K-Pop and J-Pop, J-Pop clearly benefits more from this kind of project, so it definitely boosts J-Pop.

25. I think it's great to hear those songs I vaguely knew before, re-sung in Korean. I'm still listening to Hanroro's cover of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis," haha.
26. Lee Su-hyun singing "Blue Lagoon"? Just thinking about it makes me excited! I also really loved Taeyeon's "Dinner Song" and Hanroro's "A Cruel Angel's Thesis."
27. When Taeyeon sang "Dinner Song" before, wasn't everyone happy listening to it? Why is it suddenly being treated as problematic now?

28. It's highly topical and has a great lineup. I hope this new song is also successful!
29. Why J-Pop specifically??? Really, why???
30. The lineup of singers is excellent. I hope they can also cover some Western pop songs in the future.

31. It's so funny; every time I listen, I think the song is good, but my mouth unconsciously sings the original lyrics.
32. People travel to Japan frequently, but then get particularly agitated about things like this. It's really a double standard.
