BIBI to Discuss Waterbomb Seoul 2026 Stage Controversy on New SBS Show
South Korean singer BIBI (비비) has been drawn into controversy over her performance at “Waterbomb Seoul 2026.” After clips from the stage spread widely online, many viewers said some of her moves were too provocative and even sexually suggestive, prompting divided reactions. Amid the criticism, BIBI is set to speak for the first time on a new program about her approach to performing and offer a direct response.
SBS’ new program “I’ll Do Anything for You — Secretary Jin” recently released a preview showing hosts Lee Seo-jin (이서진) and Kim Kwang-kyu (김광규) visiting the Waterbomb venue to shadow BIBI throughout the day of her performance. The episode will show everything from her professionalism onstage to behind-the-scenes moments after the show.
In the preview, BIBI energizes the crowd with a high-powered performance, while Lee and Kim head into the audience area to watch her set in person. The two even change into “fake muscle” outfits that accentuate their physiques, instantly becoming a focus of attention. Audience members are visibly surprised to see them, cheering after recognizing them and spraying them with water guns, drawing Lee and Kim into Waterbomb’s festive atmosphere.
At the same time, BIBI’s stage gradually builds toward its climax. Deeply committed to her performances, she shares her belief about the stage on the show: “I have my own performance philosophy: I have to make sure the people who paid for tickets are happy.”

BIBI also reveals that she began preparing for the performance 3 months in advance. “I prepared for it as if it were my last performance,” she says, underscoring how seriously she takes the stage and how much effort she puts into a single show.
