All BTS members are about to enlist in the military!

The management company of the popular South Korean boy band BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, announced today that the four members who have not yet enlisted are beginning the process for their military service. The schedule will be made public once it is confirmed. The company BIGHIT MUSIC, to which BTS belongs, announced on November 22nd through the fan communication platform Weverse, "RM, JIMIN, V, and JUNGKOOK have begun the process related to fulfilling their military service obligations." The talent agency stated that RM, JIMIN, V, and JUNGKOOK, four members of the group, will enlist in the military in succession. They also mentioned, "Until the day they return healthy and well, we hope everyone will provide them with warm support and the same love as always. The company will also continue to support and cherish our artists." Members of BTS were recommended by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2020 to postpone their military service until the age of 30. As per their individual work schedules, the members have been submitting applications to cancel the postponement of their service. Following Jin, the oldest member who enlisted last year, J-Hope and SUGA have also begun their military service in succession this year. Four members of BTS will enlist in the military service according to the dates specified in their draft notices, which could be as soon as this year or early next year. After all members of BTS have completed their military service, the earliest they might reunite and meet with fans again is possibly in 2025. Netizens have expressed their reluctancy to let go regarding the news of BTS enlisting in the military, commenting, "Can't believe 4 members are leaving at once!" "I might cry again..." "All at once... Can't bear to part with them!" Some netizens expressed their enthusiasm: "I will patiently wait for the day of the full comeback!" "Please come back healthy!" "Let's meet in 2025!"

BTS V and Yoo Seung-ho make another Appearance on 'Running Man'!

Yesterday, Korean media reported that BTS's V and Yoo Seung-ho will keep their promise and make another appearance on "Running Man". They will be shooting the "Cheating Special" today, which has both surprised and delighted many fans. In this episode of "Running Man", BTS's V is making another appearance two months after his solo appearance in September, while Yoo Seung-ho is returning to the show after a month. On the episode aired on October 8th, Yoo Seung-ho appeared as a guest, playing the role of a 'con-artist' and maintained a poker face throughout the show, perfectly imitating the character of a scammer. HAHA praised him by saying, "Yoo Seung-ho adapts really quickly, Yoo Seung-ho and V should do a special together," and even suggested doing a swindler-themed special, which raised the fans' expectations. Afterward, on the program of October 22nd, HAHA stated, "V sent me a message saying, 'I'll go there quickly,' expressing his desire to appear on the show again." Additionally, recently V expressed his desire to appear again on "Running Man" while serving as the MC at his own fan meeting. Surprisingly, V's wish came true so quickly. This time also marks the first variety show appearance for Yoo Seung-ho and V together, bringing joy to the audience with their unexpectedly bold-faced swindler characters. The interaction between the two on the show is also highly anticipated. The special appearances of Yoo Seung-ho and V also filled the recent void left by the fixed member Jeon So-min. Although "Running Man" didn't directly replace Jeon So-min, the show temporarily continued with the existing "Running Man" members collaborating with guests, bringing different chemistry to each episode.

BTS's dance instructor involved in Billion-Won extortion scandal!K-Pop

BTS's dance instructor involved in Billion-Won extortion scandal!

On the 17th, according to Korean media reports, Mr. A, who was rumored in September of this year to have embezzled HYBE funds and was suspected of fraud, has been fired by HYBE. Mr. A is one of the dance instructors for the boy band BTS and is also considered one of the founding contributors of HYBE. Mr. A not only embezzled tens of millions of dollars in public funds, but also acquired several billions of won from composers, choreographers, and entrepreneurs without any intent to repay. In the process, Mr. A not only misappropriated the name of HYBE, but also scammed money under the guise of investing in merchandise or utilizing musical works. As of November 17th, the crudely estimated amount extorted by Mr. A is at least over 5 billion won. Upon discovering that individual A had engaged in such behavior, HYBE immediately sought advice from an external law firm and conducted an investigation to assess the impact on the company. According to the findings of HYBE's investigation, the company suspended A from their duties and proceeded with disciplinary actions through a personnel committee. Ultimately, HYBE decided to terminate A's employment and filed a criminal lawsuit against them. Due to the direct loss of HYBE being estimated at tens of millions, there is no need for a mandatory disclosure. Mandatory disclosures are only required when the amount exceeds 5% of the company's own capital (2.5% for large-scale companies). In this incident, there has also been criticism toward HYBE's internal inspection system for not being thorough enough. Although Mr. A has been misusing the company's name to commit fraud and embezzle company funds for quite some time, HYBE was completely unaware of it. Consequently, some believe that while HYBE is rapidly growing, it has neglected to establish a system to prevent employee misconduct resulting from moral decay. HYBE stated that they are currently helping the victims and assisting them in filing complaints with the investigative authorities so that they can recover their losses. This is because if the victims file their complaints individually, it would result in a waste of time due to the jurisdictional differences of the authorities involved. HYBE also stated, "This incident originated from the illegal actions of an individual employee. In accordance with our zero-tolerance policy, the company will take full responsibility until the end, and we will educate other employees to prevent such incidents from happening again."
