BTS's RM candidly responds to the dating question
Popular boy band BTS member RM was asked about dating during a live broadcast on Weverse with fans yesterday. RM openly and candidly revealed whether he has a girlfriend.
During a live stream, RM read a comment from a fan, asking if he has a girlfriend. RM replied with a smile, "Although I really want a girlfriend, I don't have one now." He then jokingly asked, "Can you introduce me to a girlfriend?" which sparked a lot of discussion among the fans.
Additionally, in 2021, a Korean YouTuber revealed that RM has been in a relationship with a same-aged non-insider girlfriend since 2019. The pair share a poignant interest in art museums, and even more, the girl's mother is a famous figure in the art field.
However, RM's management company HYBE quickly responded, saying there was "no factual basis" to the claims. Netizens further voiced their discontent, saying "According to that netizen, every member of BTS should have 30 girlfriends."
However, not only RM, but also another BTS member, Jungkook, frankly answered "no" when asked if he has a girlfriend. Recently, after the release of his single "3D", Jungkook faced suspicions of being in a relationship, to which he clearly responded.
In a live broadcast on the 2nd, Jeongguk stated that he does not have a girlfriend. Jeongguk said, "I always see such posts, but I don't have a girlfriend. I just want to work right now, so I don't feel the need. I really don't have one, please stop saying it."
