[Affair Allegations] 'Crash Landing on You' Star Accused of Secret Romance with Co-star, Married with a Child

Japanese actor and singer Ryuhei Miyama has once again found himself in the spotlight. On July 22, Weekly Bunshun published a report alleging an affair between him and Maria Hanano, his co-star from the stage adaptation of 'Crash Landing on You' and a former top star of the Takarazuka Revue. The alleged relationship was described as a “forbidden romance.”

Weekly Magazine Alleges Deepening Relationship with Co-star

The report states that Ryuhei Miyama and Maria Hanano grew close while co-starring in the stage version of 'Crash Landing on You.' Weekly Bunshun claims that the two met privately multiple times during the musical's run, including after the Tokyo premiere.

Weekly Bunshun further wrote that on the evening of July 12, after the Tokyo premiere, cast members gathered for dinner. After 11 PM, five people were seen outside a yakiniku restaurant in the Shinjuku-Okubo area, known for its many Korean restaurants.

During the dinner, Maria Hanano, wearing a light blue sleeveless dress, reportedly said, “When I fall for someone, I want to start dating them right away.” Weekly Bunshun also alleged that Ryuhei Miyama, described as wearing a Versace shirt, looked at her with affectionate eyes from across the table.

Married Status Adds Fuel to the Fire

This report has garnered significant attention because Ryuhei Miyama announced his marriage to actress Ri Ri in August 2025, and the couple welcomed their first child the following month. Weekly Bunshun further claims that Miyama and Hanano continued to meet privately after the dinner, with Miyama allegedly spending multiple nights away from home, sparking speculation about whether they are in a relationship.
