Former Idol Accused of Sexual Assault Announces Re-debut; Another Member Also Returns

Shun (순), a former member of K-pop boy groups TARGET and XEED (XEED), has announced his re-debut in a new duo, drawing significant attention. This comes after he was embroiled in sexual assault allegations involving an underage fan last year, with legal proceedings still pending.

The controversy began on November 6, 2025, when 17-year-old cosplayer Mone posted on X, stating she was “going to the sky” and inviting fans to her funeral. The post, which appeared to be a suicide note, shocked many online users. In it, she thanked her fans for their unwavering support.

Subsequently, an individual close to Mone revealed more details, alleging that she had private contact with members of the boy group XEED and specifically accusing Shun of sexually assaulting Mone. This sparked widespread public outrage.

Following the allegations, Shun was removed from XEED but continued to pursue activities as a solo singer.

Recent reports indicate that Shun will re-debut as part of a new duo called T-X with Boun (바운), who was also a former member of TARGET, marking his official return to the entertainment industry.

Additionally, another XEED member, Bao (바오), was also accused of “inappropriate behavior” towards Mone at the time, leading him to announce a temporary suspension of all group activities.

However, the XEED sub-unit BE:MIN, consisting of Bao and Jaemin (재민), recently announced new activities, including a fan meeting scheduled for August, signaling Bao's return to the public eye.

It is important to note that after the incident broke, relevant parties stated that the case had entered judicial proceedings. However, as of now, there have been no subsequent trial results or new developments, and the veracity of the allegations awaits further clarification from judicial authorities.
