South Korean actor Hong Min-ki (홍민기) is currently embroiled in an escalating "dating violence" controversy. Today (Aug. 19), an influencer identified as "A," who claims to have dated Hong, released further allegations via social media. In her social media post, 'A' claimed that Hong Min-ki had previously made derogatory remarks about women, such as "Women are best in their early 30s; after that, they're just old ladies," "Women should also go to the military," and "Men are heaven, women are earth." She stated that he held many outdated gender views.

She further alleged that Hong Min-ki openly insulted and belittled actors and staff he worked with, including directors. She claimed he criticized his own fans and was involved in suspected animal abuse against his pet dog. 'A' stated that while Hong Min-ki would post photos of his dog on social media, portraying himself as a loving pet owner, he would privately curse at the dog and even kick it.

'A' also revealed that she suffered prolonged verbal abuse and "emotional manipulation" during their relationship. She accused Hong Min-ki of telling her things like, "My mental illness relapsed because of you," "I want to die," "Let's die together," and "I'm the idiot for dating you."
