Translated comments from Korean netizens:
1. I like IVE because they make K-Pop. Everything since 'I AM' has been great. 2. My thoughts exactly, it's super K-Pop. 3. This song is so good ㅋㅋㅋ
4. The music video also reminds me of old BLACKPINK MVs, that glamorous style ㅋㅋㅋ It looks like they spent a lot of money. 5. The song is genuinely good. 6. It's just a very ordinary song… The song is a bit disappointing compared to the concept.
7. Truly, from the song length to the bridge and the third verse, it's pure K-Pop. 8. The song is really good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 9. IVE's vibe is that breathless, repetitive melody with a touch of trot, very exciting.
10. The MV is incredibly well-made. 11. I love it so much!!!!!!!!! 12. It's so good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
13. It's an English song. 14. This is what K-Pop is. 15. The song is super good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
16. There are too many English lyrics; it doesn't feel like K-Pop. 17. This isn't the style people think of when they mention K-Pop… 18. The song is indeed good.
19. Seeing those who said 'Neon' was true K-Pop, this song feels like it was released to refute them… I hope everyone can return to the essence of K-Pop through this. 20. Just looking at that tweet, it got over 10,000 likes in half a day. Opposing for the sake of opposition is just pathetic. 21. I listened with anticipation, but it's just common K-Pop now ㅋㅋㅋ Only the three-minute song length feels like the old days.
22. It's the feeling of second and third-generation K-Pop that I experienced, super exciting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I listened to this song on my way to work this morning ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 23. It's trending #1 worldwide. It's definitely a sensation. 24. It's just ordinary K-Pop, what's different about it?
25. Perhaps overseas K-Pop fans have a different feeling. 26. Isn't this the typical K-Pop style with a bridge high note improvisation in the third verse ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ With more easy-listening songs and shorter tracks around two minutes, this style is rare now. 27. Although the song is good, it's a bit of a shame about the excessive English lyrics. I used to love IVE's songs for their many Korean lyrics ㅠㅠ
28. The song isn't that great… 29. But the song is really exciting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 30. The song is super exciting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
31. Incorporating trot style + third verse + bridge + a variation and improvised climax in the latter half, it indeed follows the formula of second and third-generation K-Pop. 32. If it goes on music shows, its ranking should also rise! 33. As expected, overseas K-Pop fans also felt it.
34. So good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ It's super addictive too ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 35. So exciting!!! 36. It's really just super exciting 걍 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
37. It sounds like trot..... 38. Is a trot-like, slightly rustic feel what K-Pop is? 39. I think the song choice is excellent!! While not entirely my style, IVE pulls it off really well.
40. One of IVE's least impressive songs. 41. I love it so much ㅋㅋㅋ It's long and very addictive. 42. The chorus is a bit exaggerated. When the chorus challenge first came out, I thought the song was bad…
43. Hmm, not my cup of tea. 44. I love it too much… 45. The best IVE song released in the past year.
46. The least impressive song IVE has released to date. People's feelings really differ this much. 47. You can tell from Twitter, not just overseas, but domestic Twitter reactions are also super good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ @24, the likes are already over 30,000 and 19,000. There's a limit to how much you can deny it ㅋ ;; 48. So exciting ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
49. I love IVE so much ♡ 50. It's exciting and good. 51. It definitely has a second-generation group vibe, I love it so much ❤️
52. It's like my DNA is reacting… Mhm. 53. It really sounds like old K-Pop songs, so it's not my style either ㅋㅋㅋ 54. The high notes are amazing.
55. Wow, the song is so good, it's amazing how divided the comments are. 56. It's so funny how people deliberately go into popular posts to pour cold water on them, saying things like 'Hmm…' Why do that when the likes and retweets are so good ㅋㅋㅋ 57. It's a sensation here, I love it so much, give me a stage soon.
58. The song is really good ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Although I like 'Bang Bang,' this one is even better than 'Bang Bang' ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 59. If it's good, it'll show on the charts, right? ㅋㅋㅋ 60. It's genuinely my style after a long time ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I love it so much.
61. So good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 62. The song is super good ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I listened to it on my way to work today too. 63. The melody is simple but nice, though I'm a bit tired of it.
