He not only revealed for the first time the reasons behind his low-key wedding but also discussed the most significant changes since tying the knot. During the episode broadcast on the 29th, Kim Jong-kook spoke about his decision to hold a private wedding. He explained that it wasn't an attempt to be mysterious but rather a conscious effort to consider his wife's perspective.

Kim Jong-kook stated, "Someone has their own life, and then suddenly one day they are labeled 'someone's wife.' I felt that could be a huge burden." For this reason, he decided to keep the wedding ceremony private. "It wasn't about creating a buzz; it was simply about thinking more for her," he added.

Discussing his married life, Kim Jong-kook admitted that the biggest change since getting married has been a greater sense of inner stability. He shared, "After marriage, there's truly a great sense of security. No matter where I am, just knowing that I only need to look at the same person always brings immense reassurance."

When asked on the show if he uses nicknames for his wife, Kim Jong-kook shared his "wife-loving philosophy." He mentioned hearing many people say that women often lose their own names after marriage, gradually becoming "someone's wife" or "someone's mom." Therefore, he makes a special effort to call his wife by her given name frequently in daily life, hoping she won't lose her identity and name because of marriage.
