Lee Si-an (이시안), known for her cat-like captivating eyes and tall, modelesque figure, previously participated in Mnet's 'Idol School' and 'PRODUCE 48.' More recently, she gained attention for her appearance on Netflix's dating reality show 'Single's Inferno 4.' She recently shared her past experience of nearly debuting as a girl group member, only for the pandemic to unexpectedly crush her dreams, sparking widespread discussion.
Lee recently uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled "The real reason my idol debut failed... Autumn clothing resale + seed scam storm." In the video, she met with Ki Jeong-eun (기정은), who also trained as an idol, and the two shared a meal in Itaewon, reminiscing about their trainee days.
Discussing her preparations for debut, Lee laughed, saying, "I was actually the visual." She revealed that they had not only recorded many songs but were at a stage where they were "really close to debuting."

However, their idol dream, which was on the verge of coming true, was disrupted by the sudden onset of the pandemic. Lee lamented, "We were really unlucky; it felt like the whole world was unfairly pushing us down."
Ki also revealed that there were plans for them to perform as a girl group on the Waterbomb music festival stage, which would have served as their official debut. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was ultimately canceled, forcing the group's debut plans to be postponed.

Although both parties briefly revisited the debut plans after the pandemic began to subside, the prolonged duration of the pandemic caused the entire project to be gradually shelved, ultimately leading to its unfortunate cancellation.
Afterward, both women left their original agencies and embarked on different life paths. Reflecting on her unfulfilled idol dream, Lee admitted, "It's a bit of a shame, isn't it? There's still some regret."
Lee previously participated in Mnet's audition programs 'Idol School' and 'PRODUCE 48.' While she ultimately did not officially debut through these shows, she garnered renewed attention last year for her appearance on Netflix's popular reality show 'Single's Inferno 4,' becoming one of the most discussed contestants on the program.
