South Korean star PSY created an idol audition-like moment during his 'PSY Summer Swag 2026' concert. After seeing a middle school student confidently dancing in the audience, he immediately instructed his manager to get her contact details, boldly stating, "We'll meet again soon!" The video of the incident quickly went viral, leading to the girl's identity being revealed.
On May 25, a video titled "PSY 'Summer Swag' On-the-Spot Audition" circulated widely on social media. When the concert camera panned to a female student, she showed no signs of shyness, confidently facing the camera and immediately breaking into a unique dance that captivated the entire audience.
Upon seeing her, PSY immediately requested, "Show me that last friend again." As the camera refocused on the girl, she appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere, continuing to dance freely, unfazed by the gaze of tens of thousands of spectators.
PSY then asked, "Which section is she in?" before directly instructing his staff: "That friend doesn't need to scream anymore. Please have a P NATION manager go get her contact information. We'll meet again soon." His words, akin to an on-the-spot recruitment, sent the audience into a frenzy.
The video garnered over 11 million views within just one day of its release, sparking widespread discussion. The girl, Kim Ra-hee (김라희), later appeared on social media herself, happily posting, "Hello everyone!!! Thank you for liking and complimenting me," expressing her gratitude to netizens.
However, after the incident went viral, some netizens discovered that Kim Ra-hee was born in 2012 and claimed she was already receiving idol training at a professional institution, leading to speculation that she was an "idol trainee." Kim Ra-hee personally clarified that she is merely an aspiring idol who attends a dance academy, with no contracts signed with any agency and no plans to debut as a trainee, hoping to dispel any misunderstandings.
As for PSY's public statement about wanting to meet her again, many fans are eagerly anticipating whether this unexpected encounter will lead to a collaboration with P NATION or even pave her way into the idol world. The accidental meeting at 'Summer Swag' has sparked significant interest in her future, and whether it will truly lead to her joining P NATION and advancing her idol dreams remains to be seen.
