Sean (션), a member of the Korean hip-hop group JinuSean (지누션) and a current director at YG Entertainment, has been married to actress Jung Hye-young (정혜영) for many years, and their relationship remains as sweet as ever. Recently, a remarkably romantic habit of his has drawn significant attention. Not only does he record the number of days he has been married to his wife daily, but he also openly declared his intention to continue counting until his last day, confessing, "She is cuter every day than the day before, and I am happier than yesterday." This enduring romantic declaration even gave the show's host goosebumps.
On October 26, the YouTube channel "Lee Sung-mi's Can't Go" (이성미의못간다) released its latest video, inviting Sean to share stories about his life. During their conversation, host Lee Sung-mi (이성미) unexpectedly asked, "How many days have passed since you married Jung Hye-young?"
To everyone's surprise, Sean answered almost without hesitation: "Today is our 8,009th day of marriage, and our 9,392nd day of being together." His precision, not missing even a single day, made Lee Sung-mi exclaim, "Oh my god, that really gives me goosebumps!" Her amusing reaction filled the studio with laughter.
Lee Sung-mi then pressed, "How long do you plan to keep counting?" Sean replied without a moment's thought, "I'll probably keep counting until the day I die." He then added a sweet confession: "She is cuter every day than the day before, and I am happier than yesterday."

Beyond sharing his sweet daily life with his wife, Sean also discussed his philosophy on life. He believes that every day is a precious gift, and even when unexpected events or difficulties arise, one should embrace each new day with a grateful heart.
After hearing Sean's insights, Lee Sung-mi couldn't help but express her admiration: "I surrender! His way of thinking and living is so different from others. Watching him makes you want to be like him and learn from him."
Sean and Jung Hye-young married in 2004 and have four children. Even after more than 22 years of marriage, Sean continues to count their days together, recording his love for his wife in his own unique way. His romantic gestures are on par with those of couples in the first flush of love, leading many to reflect that true, lasting love might just be about treating every ordinary day as a gift.
In addition to his happy family life, Sean has also actively engaged in charitable activities for many years, earning him the nickname "Donation Angel" for his long-term philanthropy. In 2009, he met former basketball player Park Seung-il (박승일), who suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which inspired him to commit to building a nursing hospital specifically for ALS patients. To achieve this goal, Sean has continuously raised funds through activities like the Ice Bucket Challenge and charity runs, actively advocating for patients and their families.
Since 2020, Sean has also organized the "815 Run" charity marathon annually on Korea's Liberation Day, personally challenging himself to run 81.5 kilometers and encouraging public participation to raise funds. These funds help improve the living conditions of descendants of independence activists. According to relevant data, as of 2026, this event has cumulatively raised over 10 billion Korean Won, with Sean's personal donations also reaching billions of Korean Won.
Whether it's his deep affection for his wife or his sustained commitment to charity over the years, Sean demonstrates his appreciation for life and his care for others through his actions. This has earned him considerable positive acclaim beyond the entertainment industry.
