KBS's New Weekend Mini-Series to Premiere in 2027
KBS2 stated, "The new weekend mini-series 'Love Cloud' will premiere in 2027, and actors Song Joong-ki and Park Ji-hyun have been confirmed to star." Song Joong-ki was previously confirmed for the drama in May, and now Park Ji-hyun's official confirmation means the two will share the screen in this new project.
'Love Cloud' is a disaster romance drama centered around Kang Woo-joo (played by Song Joong-ki), an air traffic controller who can see his ex-lover's emotions through the weather, and Ahn Ha-nee (played by Park Ji-hyun), a pilot whose own emotional state transforms into weather due to a curse. The series will depict the ever-changing and unpredictable emotions of love, much like the weather.
The drama will be directed by Song Min-yeop, known for 'High Cookie' and 'Youth of May'.
Song Joong-ki Plays Jeju Island's Ace Controller
Song Joong-ki plays Kang Woo-joo, an air traffic controller and former flight instructor. Kang Woo-joo was once known for his outstanding skills, earning him the nickname 'Mad Captain.' He later gave up flying, settled in Jeju Island, and now works as an air traffic controller.
As the ace of the control tower, Kang Woo-joo possesses sharp judgment and fluent English skills. On his days off, his only hobby is cloud-gazing. However, one day, Ahn Ha-nee suddenly appears and completely shakes up his life.
