Reports suggest that these lines quickly led to external speculation about whether Nayeon might be considering moving at least her solo activities to another company while continuing to promote as a TWICE member.

The reason this discussion has garnered attention is also related to TWICE currently being in contract renewal talks. Reports mentioned that several members have recently been rumored to potentially leave JYP, thus Nayeon's mother's post has been amplified and reinterpreted.
