South Korea's 'Nation's MC' Yoo Jae-suk (유재석) once again showed his humorous side. Recently, on the variety show 'How Do You Play?' (놀면 뭐하니?), he discussed rising star Lee Jun-young (이준영), who previously excelled in a music competition. Yoo could not resist taking credit, proudly declaring, "I made him successful; I raised Jun-young!" His boastful remark sent the set into laughter and demonstrated his affection for his junior colleague.
The latest episode of MBC's 'How Do You Play?' featured the second preliminary round of the '95 Seoul Music Festival,' inviting contestants who had previously lost in the '80 Seoul Music Festival' and had not yet advanced to return. During the show, Yoo Jae-suk announced that this year's prize money would be higher than last year, sparking discussion.

Considering inflation since the 1990s, the organizers increased the Grand Prize for this year's festival to 2,000,000 Korean won (approximately NT$45,000), double that of the previous '80 Seoul Music Festival.' The Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes were set at 1,000,000 won, 700,000 won, and 500,000 won, respectively.
Discussing the contestants for this competition, Haha (하하) also expressed his anticipation, hoping for another surprising new face like Lee Jun-young. Lee had previously won the Grand Prize alongside Lee Juck (이적) at the '80 Seoul Music Festival.' His passionate performance of Park Nam-jung's song 'Missing You' not only secured him the Grand Prize but also the Popularity Award, marking a truly outstanding performance.

Recalling Lee Jun-young's brilliant performance, Yoo Jae-suk proudly stated that when he first suggested Lee sing veteran artist Park Nam-jung's song, Lee felt a lot of pressure. However, he not only successfully completed the performance but also won the Grand Prize.
Unexpectedly, Joo Woo-jae (주우재) could not help but retort after hearing this, "He always brags about this!" seemingly fed up with Yoo Jae-suk's repeated claims of credit. Yoo, far from toning it down, responded even more proudly, "I made him successful; I raised Jun-young!" His words once again erupted in laughter from the entire set.

Additionally, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Lee Jun-young's recent activities, jokingly asking everyone, "Do you know how amazingly he dances now that he's in the military?" Joo Woo-jae chimed in, saying Lee does not seem introverted at all, further livening the atmosphere. Haha then lightheartedly quipped, "Given how well he's doing, shouldn't he come say hello to us during his leave? Haven't I paved the way for him? He should come greet us!" His words conveyed both anticipation and playful teasing for his junior.
Currently, Lee Jun-young is serving in the military. Yoo Jae-suk and the other hosts used the show to reminisce about his past performances and discuss his current status, allowing viewers to once again enjoy the junior artist's brilliant showing at the '80 Seoul Music Festival.'
