BTS member RM put to rest rumors of his enlistment by appearing as a surprise guest at Suga's solo encore concert in Seoul on Saturday.
The 27-year-old rapper, who has been sporting a close-shaved haircut, addressed the rumors head-on during the concert, saying, "I get contacted 5 or 6 times a day about my enlistment. It has nothing to do with that. I just buzzed my hair because it was hot."
RM also spoke about how honored he was to be able to join Suga on stage for the finale of his solo tour. "It's been a while since I've been on stage," he said. "It's an honor to be able to be with Suga in the finale where he struggled alone."
In addition to RM, Jin and J-Hope, who are currently serving in the military, also visited the concert as guests. The three rappers performed a special song together, sending fans into a frenzy.
After the concert, Suga raised expectations for a future BTS concert, saying, "When I perform again in Seoul, I wonder if I will stand on stage with my 7 brothers."
The surprise appearance by RM and the other BTS members was a welcome treat for fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the group's return to the stage. With enlistments on the horizon for some of the members, it's unclear when BTS will next perform together.
