Odd Eye Circle makes its first comeback after overcoming the lawsuit. A new journey for them as they release “Version Up”

On July 12, Odd Eye Circle held a showcase at Yes24 Live Hall to commemorate the release of their new mini album “Version Up.” Odd Eye Circle was originally formed as a sub-unit of LOONA in 2017. The trio has embarked on their new beginning after seven years. This is their first activity after winning the lawsuit against their former agency Blockberry Creative. “Version Up” is their first mini album that after signing contracts with MODHAUS, is currently in the works for an upcoming project group ARTMS.
Kim Lip said that people who love a genre that doesn't exist in K-POP will like their song. Choerry said that she wants to do more content to get closer to their fans. Members Jinsoul and Choerry are looking forward to meeting their fans. Kim Lip explained that they upgraded a lot of things such as their appearance and their skills have also improved.
According to Jinsoul, she has shared a lot of opinions with the CEO in terms of music and has devoted her passion to this album. Choerry stated that they didn't come out as a whole ARTMS but Odd Eye Circle was able to do it because of the CEO's trust, she also thanked the members Heejin and Haseul for supporting them.
In addition, Odd Eye Circle was confident of their music. “I think Odd Eye Circle is highly evaluated for its musicality”, Choerry said. “So we prepared hard by sharing a lot of opinions on this one” she added.
The LOONA members are still in contact and they have a strong relationship. Odd Eye Circle members said that the other members contacted them while preparing for this promotion. The members cheered for them a lot and praised them when the music video was released.
When they were asked about LOONA's activities, Kim Lip answered that they did not disband, and there's a possibility for the group to promote again. She added that they can't freely use the name ‘LOONA’.
Odd Eye Circle is known for having good songs in the past, this mini album shows how their music evolved through the past years. They finally expressed confidence, saying that they have grown a lot compared to seven years ago. This mini album contains a total of five songs.
