On the 27th, Lee Jin-ho, a well-known YouTuber and former Korean entertainment journalist, released a new video on his channel titled "Shocking Exclusive! FIFTY FIFTY Incident Reversal... The Data Appearing After The Messaging App Recovery".
In the video, Lee Jin-ho revealed that "ATTRAKT started preparing its own marketing team in May, and asked The Givers to return all the data they had managed during this period."
According to Lee Jinho, on May 10th this year, FIFTY FIFTY's parent company ATTRAKT demanded that the outsourcing production company The Givers return all business email accounts and relevant cooperation matters.
However, The Givers kept making excuses to delay and only returned the email account, which all data had been deleted from, after the members had sent the registered letters. Lee Jin-ho also mentioned that the recovered data included a conversation between Director B and the staff.
Based on the disclosed information, it can be seen that an employee reported to Director B, "Director, all ATTRAKT cloud accounts have been fully backed up, and can now be destroyed. Thank you." Director B replied to the employee, "Thank you for your hard work." Additionally, the employee also sent the lyrics of Barbie's song to Director B.
Lee Jin-ho explained, "That is, after The Givers backed up all information about FIFTY FIFTY and transferred it to ATTRAKT, all the data was damaged, indeed leaving corrupted electronic record data".
Lee Jin-ho also mentioned that he had asked Ahn Seong-il for his opinion, but the response was "Since it's an ongoing investigation, we cannot provide an official statement." Lee Jin-ho further stated, "Why did they need to make a backup in the first place? Just with this backup, they can potentially handle FIFTY FIFTY's business later. If not, there's no reason to backup. This isn't simply about deleting."
