The 2023 New World Jamboree Scouting event has caused considerable controversy due to poor organization by the hosting agency. In efforts to restore "Korea's reputation", the government has mandatorily drafted multiple girl groups to perform. Among them, the stage preparation of NewJeans has drawn significant interest from netizens.
Recently, a series of incidents stirred up controversies at the World Scout Jamboree held in Korea, such as a large number of participants suffering from heatstroke and mosquito-related health issues.
