BTS Jin opens up about the reasons behind considering disbandment in the past! Two crucial factors that helped overcome the crisis!
BTS, the boy band, celebrates their 10th debut anniversary this month. Apart from their participation in the new single 'Take Two' as a complete group, their management company has collaborated with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to turn landmarks such as Seoul Tower and City Hall into BTS's signature purple color. However, Jin, who marks the 10th anniversary of their debut, expressed deep emotions and shared his past struggles during a program hosted by member SUGA, capturing the attention of netizens.

On the 11th, BTS member Jin made a guest appearance on SUGA's web program "SUCHWITA," which was shared on BTS's official YouTube channel, "Bangtan TV." This video was actually filmed back in December last year, right before Jin's enlistment. However, it wasn't released publicly for several months due to the need for accurate subtitles as requested by the artists. Finally, in June, the video was unveiled, bringing attention to Jin's heartfelt moments during the show.

During the filming, Jin talked about his recent activities before enlistment, saying, "I played games and spent time with my family. I always thought I didn't have many friends, but it turned out that many people wanted to meet me before I enlisted."

Continuing on, during their conversation, SUGA brought up the year they won the MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) in 2018. That year, BTS received significant awards including Album of the Year and Artist of the Year, which were equivalent to major accolades.

Jin then recalled that when he went on stage to accept the award, he had mentioned that everyone felt particularly exhausted both mentally and physically, so they had considered whether or not to disband. Now, he feels grateful to achieve such great results and appreciates the support from the members, which helped them regain their strength.
Regarding this, Jin revealed the reason behind their contemplation of disbandment at that time: "During the promotions for 'FAKE LOVE,' we only had about 1.5 days of rest per month, and it went on like that for three months. It was truly tough, but because the company said that's what it takes to succeed, we all agreed to it."

Jin further expressed, "Working tirelessly in 2018 took a toll on us both mentally and physically. Although we understood the necessity, I was extremely exhausted and felt inclined to give it all up." He emphasised that it was the support from the members and the thought of their fans that provided them with the motivation to push through, ultimately averting the crisis of disbandment.
