Formerly appearing in the Korean variety show "Transit Love 2," sports anchor Lee Nayeon has recently sparked controversy over alleged puppy abandonment. On the 19th, she posted a lengthy explanation in the comments of her own post, triggering a heated debate among netizens on the forum.

Before starring in Transit Love 2, Nayeon had previously owned two dogs—a Maltese and a Bichon Frise. These two dogs frequently appeared in posts and stories on Nayeon's mother's Instagram account. However, from someday onwards, the presence of the two dogs disappeared, and Nayeon adopted a new dog.

Hence, on the 19th, Nayeon posted an explanation under her post, stating: "The dogs I used to have are now living with my grandmother!! Due to some personal reasons at home, I chose to let the dogs stay with her. Even though the situation has been resolved, my grandmother, who lives alone, expressed feeling lonely. So, I decided to let the dogs continue living with her.”
