FIFTY FIFTY member's activities on hiatus due to surgery

K-pop girl group 'FIFTY FIFTY' soared to commercial success with their viral hit single "Cupid" in February 2023. Within four months of their debut under Attrakt, an independent record label, they became the fastest K-pop group to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. Their debut EP, "The Fifty," set the stage for their rise to prominence in November 2022.

Previously, it was reported that Aran, one of the members of FIFTY FIFTY, underwent surgery. Aran had encountered discomfort during choreography practice, leading her to seek medical treatment and undergo examination at the hospital.

On the 23rd, FIFTY FIFTY's agency issued an update regarding the activities of their artist, revealing that one of their members had encountered medical symptoms. Following consultations with the member and their family, appropriate treatment was pursued in accordance with the guidance provided by medical professionals.

The member underwent surgery on May 2nd and requires a recovery period of one to two months. To prioritise their health, Attrakt temporarily suspended their group activities, providing them with a period of rest.
