Lee Ye-na (이예나), a former member of a South Korean girl group who goes by the name Ailee, recently appeared in the August issue of men's magazine MAXIM Korea. Her photoshoot, which openly displayed her curvaceous and fit figure, quickly garnered significant attention and discussion among netizens, making her a trending topic once again.
For the photoshoot, Ailee adopted a fitness instructor concept. She stated, "This shoot was based on my actual profession as a fitness instructor, so I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process and had a lot of fun. Since I'm most familiar with this theme, I hoped to present the most complete and best work possible."
Discussing her yoga pants outfit in the pictorial, she laughed, saying she wears yoga pants almost every day. "They're as comfortable as wearing nothing, and they really highlight your figure, which makes you more conscious about maintaining your physique and controlling your diet. However, the downside is that they're less breathable, so if you wear them all day, it can feel a bit stuffy."
As a fitness instructor, she also shared her philosophy on health. She advised, "I recommend everyone find an exercise that suits them; it's truly beneficial for your health. If you don't know how to start exercising, feel free to come to me. Some people might seek me out for other reasons, but if I can be the motivation for everyone to start exercising, I believe that's what a good instructor should do."
Ailee was previously a member of the four-member girl group Dia Girls, where she was known by her stage name Yeona (연아) under Diamond One Entertainment. Before their official debut in 2015, the group gained recognition through military comfort performances and officially debuted with the digital single "Dia Girls."
She served as the leader of the group, but due to limited group activities, she gradually transitioned into an influencer and fitness instructor. With her 172 cm (5'8") tall stature and impressive G-cup curves, she garnered significant attention. In 2024, she advanced to the semifinals of the Miss Maxim selection contest, ultimately finishing in 8th place. Following this, she officially began activities as a MAXIM model, further boosting her public profile.
