Baek Jin-hee to Marry Canadian Non-Celebrity After Seven-Year Relationship with Yoon Hyun-min

South Korean actress Baek Jin-hee (백진희), 36, has announced her upcoming marriage. According to a September 7 report by Korean media outlet MyDaily, Baek will hold her wedding on January 23, 2027, at a Seoul hotel. The groom is a non-celebrity, and the ceremony will be a private affair, attended only by close family members.

Baek’s fiancé is reportedly an office worker residing in Canada. After their marriage, the couple plans to divide their time between Canada and Seoul. Baek has no intention of retiring from acting and will continue her career.

Sources close to the couple revealed that their long-distance relationship presented challenges, making frequent meetings difficult. Despite the hardships, they maintained a deep affection for each other. “Although long-distance relationships can be emotionally and physically draining, they always had profound love for each other,” the source stated. The insider added that both found emotional stability in their relationship, ultimately leading to their decision to marry.

Baek Jin-hee debuted in 2008 with the film *Bandhobi*. She gained wider recognition in 2011 after appearing in *High Kick! Revenge of the Short Legged*. She has since showcased her versatile acting in numerous projects, including *Pots of Gold*, *Empress Ki*, *Pride and Prejudice*, and *My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol*.

In June of last year, Baek signed with Management AM9. Earlier this year, she starred in the MBC drama *Judge Lee Han-young*, portraying a passionate and justice-driven reporter.
