Recently, there have been numerous reports from foreign media suggesting that BLACKPINK member Jennie will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play the role of 'Luna Snow'. However, following the circulation of these rumors, Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, has officially issued a statement today denying the speculation.

Foreign media reports suggest that Jennie is set to join the cast of a series centered around an Asian superhero team named 'Team Agents of Atlas.' Currently, negotiations are underway between Jennie and the respective teams.

Foreign media sources further indicate that Jennie will portray the character 'Luna Snow' in the series, who is a K-pop singer that became an artist to support her elderly grandmother after the passing of her parents. During a performance, 'Luna Snow' is attacked by an organization and subsequently captured. While attempting to escape, she unexpectedly gains the ability to control ice.

Furthermore, 'Luna Snow' is a Marvel character that was first introduced to the public through the video game 'Marvel Super War' in 2020. The character was also voiced by Luna, a former member of the girl group f(x).

In response to the rumours of Jennie from YG Entertainment joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the agency issued a statement today, stating, 'We have not received any offers or proposals for her participation.' They directly denied the rumours regarding her involvement.

Jennie's recent appearance in the HBO series 'The Idol' has also been officially revealed. This marks her first foray into Hollywood with an American television series. Therefore, there are rumours suggesting that 'The Idol' is just a stepping stone, paving the way for her future endeavours in the international film industry.

While many fans are eagerly anticipating her next project, there are also netizens who hope that Jennie can further improve her acting skills before taking on new roles, believing that she will be able to showcase an even better performance.
