2026 is shaping up to be the year of K-pop group reunions. Boy group VICTON surprised fans with the announcement of a full reunion for their 10th anniversary, including a celebratory tour, bringing joy to those who have waited years for their return.
VICTON, a seven-member boy group, debuted under IST Entertainment (then Plan A Entertainment) in 2016. Their debut preparations were documented in the reality show “Me & 7Men,” establishing them as a junior group to girl group Apink. They officially debuted on November 9, 2016, with their first album, “Voice to New World.” On October 11, 2022, Heo Chan (許燦) announced his departure, and the group continued as a six-member act.
After their debut, VICTON consistently released music and engaged in activities, steadily growing their popularity and touring globally. However, with member changes and mandatory military enlistments, group activities began to slow. Their most recent release as a group was in November 2022.
Subsequently, members began to leave their original agency, with the last member departing in 2024. Due to the long hiatus, many believed VICTON had quietly disbanded. Although the members had previously hinted at the possibility of future activities, fans are now overjoyed that a comeback has truly materialized.
On September 18, VICTON officially announced a 10th-anniversary tour, with stops planned for Seoul, Taipei, and Bangkok. Following the news, fans flooded social media with excited comments. Many expressed disbelief, calling the reunion “unreal,” especially seeing all members on stage together again after approximately four years.
Fans shared their emotional reactions, with comments like: “VICTON is truly saying, 'We're not done yet' 😭,” and “After everything they've been through, seeing all six VICTON members on stage together again in 2026 feels like a dream.”
This surprise reunion serves as a testament to fans that even after members leave their original agencies and groups experience long periods of inactivity, there is still a chance for them to return to the stage with their original lineup.
