Hong Min-ki's Ex-Girlfriend Alleges Forced Abortion, Abandonment After Surgery Amid Dating Violence Claims

South Korean rising actor Hong Min-ki (홍민기), known for roles in works like “Thugs in School,” “The Good Thief,” and “Hospital Ship,” was nominated for Best New Actor in the TV category at the Baeksang Arts Awards in May. However, his burgeoning career has been impacted by recent accusations of dating violence made by his ex-girlfriend, an influencer identified as 'A'.

In response, Hong Min-ki's agency, Fable Company, issued an official statement yesterday (19th), vehemently denying all allegations and threatening legal action. Unexpectedly, 'A' retaliated via social media, revealing for the first time that she became pregnant during their relationship and underwent an abortion. She claims she paid for the procedure herself and that Hong Min-ki broke up with her and cut off contact afterward, further fueling the controversy.

Fable Company's statement yesterday denied 'A's accusations of dating violence. The agency stated that the couple began dating in April of this year, but during their relationship, 'A' allegedly admitted to maintaining contact with her ex-boyfriend and meeting other men. Hong Min-ki reportedly felt that trust had been broken and expressed his desire to end the relationship multiple times.

The agency further claimed that 'A' continued to demand reconciliation and contact Hong Min-ki after their breakup, even visiting his and his family's residences. Consequently, the company announced it would take legal measures against these actions.

Additionally, Hong Min-ki's side alleged that 'A' continuously stalked and harassed him. They stated that around 1 AM on the 19th, 'A' again visited Hong Min-ki's residence, repeatedly ringing the doorbell and knocking for approximately three hours before leaving at 4 AM. The agency claims to have security camera footage showing 'A' covering the doorbell camera with a sticker to obstruct recording and later kicking the door.
