South Korean actor Hwang Jung-min (황정민) is embroiled in a private life controversy. His agency recently stated that online accuser 'A' is suspected of long-term stalking and that legal action has been taken. However, 'A' has not ceased speaking out, releasing more content on social media on the 5th to refute the agency's claims. 'A' emphasized that their contact was always a "two-way interaction" and not unilateral harassment as portrayed.

In a social media post, 'A' claimed Hwang Jung-min used KakaoTalk's Multi Profile feature to communicate with her, specifically to avoid his wife's knowledge. She stated that Hwang initiated this communication method, using profile backgrounds visible only to specific contacts and non-public blog links to exchange messages. Hwang also replied numerous times, leading her to believe they maintained ongoing interaction.

She further explained that whenever Hwang Jung-min read her messages, he would change his Multi Profile in response. He even paid attention to when she modified her posts, once cautioning her, "Don't reply when you're home." This, she asserted, underscored that their relationship was not one-sided but a continuous, two-way exchange.

'A' also released a call record from August 20, 2024, a period his agency cited as when he was being stalked. She pointed out that this was precisely when Hwang claimed to have been subjected to "two years of malicious stalking," yet Hwang had called her that day. 'A' stated that she sent a selfie as requested, and when she didn't receive a reply, Hwang called her, discussing everyday topics like "That doesn't look good, does it?" and "I don't like curly hair." She used this to argue that they maintained normal contact, not one-sided harassment.

'A' further accused Hwang Jung-min's agency, Sam Company, of deliberately omitting the fact of their long-term contact and interaction in its public statements, selectively presenting information to portray her as a stalker and subject her to criminal charges.

In her post, she wrote, "Hwang Jung-min needs to be an 'unblemished victim,' which is why he needs to erase the past self who actively contacted me from the entire incident." She added, "But the biggest problem is that the Hwang Jung-min in the recordings cannot be deleted," and once again released organized audio content.

'A' also claimed that Hwang Jung-min initiated conversations, discussed their future with the premise of a relationship, and once suggested they "give each other some time." He then contacted her three times within two weeks, not only calling but also asking her for novel recommendations. She questioned, "Is all of this to be interpreted as a victim acting to appease a stalker?"

Finally, 'A' sarcastically remarked, "People call him 'National Actor,' but they probably don't want him to use his acting skills in this way." She emphasized that she has preserved all original chat screenshots and can provide them as evidence if necessary.

In fact, 'A' had previously released Hwang Jung-min's chat logs and call recordings on July 29, asserting that Hwang had consistently maintained active contact with her, even calling and asking to meet during filming.

JTBC's "Incident Commander" recently reported that, according to 'A,' the two first met at the VIP premiere of the film "Smugglers" (밀수) in July 2023, began communicating the following month, and continued their interactions until late 2024.

The program stated that 'A' claimed after exchanging contact information at the premiere, they had their first private drink at a bar in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in August. In September of the same year, before Hwang Jung-min left for Romania to film, they met again for drinks at Incheon Airport, where Hwang reportedly suggested they collaborate on a liquor brand.

In response, Hwang Jung-min's agency, Sam Company, reiterated that 'A' is a suspected stalker who has harassed Hwang Jung-min for a long time, and all related allegations are untrue.

As 'A' once again disclosed new information, the incident quickly became a trending topic on the major Korean forum theqoo. Many netizens focused on 'A's mention of "Don't reply when you're home," interpreting it as an attempt by both parties to avoid their spouses, thereby concluding the relationship involved an affair. Comments included: "I thought it was an affair from the start," "Not having sex doesn't mean it's not an affair," "He's already like this and still colluding with Dispatch, the old man is really pathetic," "He has wealth and fame, but men are still..." "I don't want to see him on TV anymore," "Lee Byung-hun and Jung Woo-sung are still active, so he probably won't be affected either," "99% of these kinds of news are true," "It doesn't look like this is the first time he's done something like this," "This is an affair, truly disappointing," "It's surprising that someone in their 50s would use these methods," "I thought Hwang Jung-min only knew how to act, very disappointed," "More diligent than young people," "Feels like this isn't his first time having such a relationship," "I'm in my 30s and didn't even know about these features," "He looks like someone still using a 2G phone, but he uses Multi Profile, secret links, and asks people to write erotic novels, it's truly disgusting." However, some also commented, "I use Multi Profile myself, just because I don't want my colleagues to see my private life."
