The film “Intern” (고년이 인턴), starring Choi Min-sik (최민식), Han So-hee (한소희), Ryu Hye-young (류혜영), and Kim Jun-han (김준한), is set to premiere in South Korea on October 16. Ryu recently shared a group photo, but Han, a main cast member, was notably missing. This prompted Han to comment directly, “Why am I not there.” The period at the end of her short sentence was interpreted by fans as a hint of playful disappointment.
On October 1, actress Ryu Hye-young posted several photos on her social media. In the pictures, she is seen smiling at the camera, wearing an employee ID badge with the name “Choi Min-ah” (최민아). The photos appear to be behind-the-scenes shots taken during the filming of “Intern.”
Other actors, including Choi Min-sik and Kim Jun-han, also appeared in the photos, sharing a rare moment together that suggested a close camaraderie. However, Han So-hee, also a lead in the film, was absent from the group shots, unexpectedly drawing attention from netizens.
Upon seeing the cast group photos, Han So-hee directly commented in the section, “Why am I not there.” This brief message, punctuated with a period, led many fans to jokingly remark that she sounded “a little wronged.”
Fans also rallied behind Han So-hee, commenting to Ryu Hye-young: “It’s such a shame So-hee isn’t there, please upload 20 more photos of just the two of you!” To this, Ryu Hye-young replied, “Let’s pick a day and take more.” Their interaction was met with enthusiastic reactions from fans, who found it endearing.
In fact, Han So-hee and Ryu Hye-young share a close friendship off-screen. Before the film’s release, the two had a private gathering with Park Ye-ni (박예니), often sharing photos of their time together, showcasing their strong bond.
Now, with the cast photos being shared again, Han So-hee’s playful comment about “not being in the picture” has unexpectedly sparked discussion, once again revealing her charming and candid personality to fans.
