According to the original source, shaman Cheonsang Seonnye uploaded a video to her YouTube channel in April this year, titled "IU·Lee Jong Suk Breakup? Shaman's Surprising Prediction After 4 Years of Dating." In the video, she stated that she had no information other than IU and Lee Jong Suk's birth dates, and conducted a blind reading based on that.

She said in the video, "It seems their fate has been severed. When I wrote their horoscopes, it also showed that they had already broken up." She then questioned, "Were they really a couple for 4 years?"

She further added, "It looks like they actually broke up a long time ago. It seems they've been broken up for about 2 to 2 and a half years. The woman is very loyal; she's quite strong and direct. She tries to get along with everyone and isn't harsh. She's had a tough life but grew up in difficult circumstances, so she's very resilient."
