Ji Ye-eun (지예은), a cast member of the SBS variety show “Running Man,” is set to marry dancer VATA in December, and details about their wedding are gradually being revealed. Surprisingly, Song Ji-hyo (송지효) and Ji Suk-jin (지석진) offered to sing a congratulatory song at the wedding, but the bride-to-be, Ji Ye-eun, politely declined. She directly stated her wish for the wedding performances to have a certain “quality,” a candid reason that left the other “Running Man” members in stitches.
The December 25 broadcast of the SBS variety show “Running Man” revealed Ji Ye-eun’s recent activities as she prepares for her wedding, along with the lineup of congratulatory performances expected on the big day.
During a chat at a café, Yoo Jae-suk (유재석) first brought up Ji Ye-eun’s upcoming marriage, saying, “Ye-eun’s wedding invitations have been printed. Now that I have the invitation, it really feels like she’s getting married.” He then revealed that Song Ji-hyo had been persistently asking, “Can I sing a congratulatory song at the wedding?” but other members tried to stop her. Kim Jong-kook (김종국) seized the opportunity to joke, telling Song Ji-hyo, “Go play soccer, go play soccer!” which made everyone burst into laughter.
Not only Song Ji-hyo, but Ji Suk-jin was also eager to perform a wedding song. He revealed that he had only mentioned it casually, but Song Ji-hyo kept inviting him to sing “Milkshake” together, even suggesting they form a duo to perform at the wedding. Song Ji-hyo readily agreed, appearing quite enthusiastic.
However, faced with their enthusiastic offers, bride-to-be Ji Ye-eun gave an unexpected answer. She directly stated, “I want something with a bit of quality.” This implied that she hoped the wedding performances would meet a certain standard, thus declining their offer to sing.
