Jung Yun-ho (정윤호), a member of K-pop supergroup TVXQ, is renowned for his exceptional discipline and relentless drive. Recently, on MBC's variety show "Omniscient Interfering View," he openly discussed the hardships of his trainee days for the first time, revealing he once slept on the streets and in saunas, and supported himself through various part-time jobs. His story left the show's guests deeply impressed.

In the episode of MBC's "Omniscient Interfering View" aired on the 18th, Jung Yun-ho showcased his daily routine, which included performing cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, demonstrating his consistent self-management over the years.
During the program, he also presented a piggy bank filled with coins. His manager revealed that Jung Yun-ho has maintained the habit of saving coins since his trainee days, continuing it to this day as a reminder to never forget his original aspirations. Jung Yun-ho stated, "My goal back then was to slowly save money, and once I had enough, to use it for something meaningful."
Recalling his trainee period, Jung Yun-ho admitted that those days were extremely tough. Having moved from his hometown to Seoul to pursue his dreams, he frequently traveled between the two, leaving him constantly short on cash. He reminisced, "At that time, I had no money and nowhere to live, so I sometimes slept on the streets, near Seoul Station and in parks. Initially, I would stay overnight in Korean saunas, and to continue practicing, I also worked many part-time jobs simultaneously."

Jung Yun-ho disclosed that the highest-paying part-time job he had was shoveling snow. "The hourly wage was about 3,800 Korean Won back then, which was considered good income," he explained. Additionally, he worked at a barbecue restaurant, cleaning grill plates and scrubbing greasy exhaust vents, all to earn a living and achieve his dream of becoming a singer.

After hearing Jung Yun-ho's journey, the guests on the show collectively remarked, "Now we finally understand why he is always so passionate." Jung Yun-ho's consistent high level of dedication to his work over the years has also earned him even greater admiration from many viewers for his perseverance.
