Park We (박위), a YouTuber and husband of former Secret member Song Ji-eun (송지은), is once again embroiled in controversy. After recently drawing criticism for releasing CCTV footage of a KTX train accident, an old video of him ordering at a fast-food drive-thru has resurfaced, sparking new debate. In the video, he expresses frustration and repeatedly swears after realizing he forgot to ask for freshly fried french fries, leading some netizens to criticize his reaction as excessive.
The old video, originally uploaded to Park We's personal YouTube channel "Weracle (위라클)," has recently been recirculated across social media platforms and YouTube. The footage shows Park We driving to a fast-food chain's drive-thru on a rainy day and ordering a burger combo meal.

After receiving his order, Park We began to drive away but suddenly remembered he had forgotten to request freshly fried french fries. He immediately frowned, exclaiming in frustration, "Ah, that's right! I should have asked for hot fries." He then continued to mutter to himself, repeatedly saying "Ah, seriously!" interspersed with expletives. This entire reaction has become a focal point of online discussion.

The renewed attention on this old video is believed to be linked to Park We's recent controversy involving the public disclosure of KTX accident CCTV footage and his naming of a public service worker. As discussions around these topics intensified, his past behavior has come under renewed scrutiny from netizens.
Reactions to the video have been sharply divided among netizens. Some questioned, "Is it necessary to get so angry over something like this?" Others commented that they had never seen anyone get so upset over french fries not being freshly made.
However, some netizens argued that while it's acceptable to ask for a remake, his subsequent attitude was the issue. Comments included: "You can ask for them to be refried, but that impatient look afterward really isn't good." Other netizens offered a more lenient view, suggesting that as long as the request is made politely to the staff, it shouldn't be a problem.
In August, Park We released CCTV footage of a KTX accident. During his disembarkation, he allegedly tripped over a public service worker's outstretched leg, causing him to lose balance and fall outwards. Recalling the incident, Park We stated that while the worker's action was not intentional, he was still very angry that their foot was placed on the ramp.
According to Park We, the public service worker apologized respectfully after the accident. However, Park We's decision to release the CCTV footage sparked a new wave of controversy.
Many netizens argued that as a well-known YouTuber with approximately 1 million subscribers, Park We should not have directly released the CCTV footage or publicly named the public service worker online. Furthermore, after the accident, he not only remained at the scene but also filmed a video recreating the incident. Critics noted that the video primarily presented his perspective and did not fully show the apologies from the public service worker and other staff, leading to escalating criticism.
Faced with overwhelming scrutiny, Park We later realized the gravity of the situation and issued a brief apology. He stated, "At the time, the staff at the scene did their best to help me and apologized politely, but I failed to consider their perspective."
Now, with the old fast-food video resurfacing, Park We's past actions are once again a hot topic online, further fueling the ongoing controversy that initially revolved around the KTX accident.
