Actress Kwon Ah-reum, YouTuber G Movie Confirm Relationship, Drone Proposal Goes Viral

South Korean actress Kwon Ah-reum (권아름) and popular YouTuber G Movie (지무비), whose real name is Na Hyeon-gap (나현갑) and who boasts 4.14 million subscribers, recently confirmed their relationship. Korean media outlets have now revealed that the couple has been dating with marriage in mind, and Na even orchestrated an elaborate drone proposal last year, with the romantic event now widely shared.

It is understood that their romance was an open secret. The couple followed each other on social media and never made an effort to hide their relationship, with close friends and family members already aware of their dating status.

Adding to the buzz, Na participated in the “M Drone Light Show” held at Gwangalli Beach in Busan last November. He personally submitted an application to the official open call and planned a grand public proposal for Kwon.

Gwangalli Beach regularly hosts drone light shows, offering the public a chance to fulfill their wishes through a drone performance if their submitted story is selected. After Na's submission was chosen, he delivered a surprise confession to Kwon, witnessed by numerous tourists.

That night, drones illuminated the sky, forming sweet photos of the couple and displaying romantic messages such as, “Ah-reum, this Gwangalli Beach belongs only to you today,” and “I will make you happy for a lifetime, Kwon Ah-reum, will you marry me?” Onlookers cheered and offered their blessings, and a video of the event quickly went viral online, with netizens dubbing it “the most romantic public proposal in Gwangalli's history.”

In addition to the proposal text, the drones also formed portraits of the couple and an image of their pet dog. The entire proposal video is still available on YouTube, leading many netizens to exclaim, “It’s just like a K-drama scene!”
