Yunho Addresses Acting Controversies Head-On! Self-Deprecatingly Says "Can't Get Any Lower"
TVXQ member Yunho appeared on MBC's "Radio Star" on July 15th, discussing various topics, with the most anticipated being his direct response to past acting controversies. He admitted that he had been criticized for insufficient preparation and frankly shared his feelings when facing acting evaluations back then.

Started Acting in 2009, Received New Acclaim for "Low Life" Last Year
Yunho began his acting career in 2009, and last year, he garnered new acting praise for his role in Disney+'s "Low Life." On the show, he also shared the behind-the-scenes story of his initial casting process.

Yunho revealed that he attended a script reading at the time, unaware that it was actually an audition, and was therefore criticized for being unprepared. Faced with this situation, he requested another chance, then traveled to Mokpo and stayed for two weeks to research the local environment and dialect.

Memorized the Entire Script for the Role; Kim Sung-ryung Also Surprised
Yunho stated that even after confirming the role, he continued to dedicate himself to preparation. He said, "I memorized the entire script to see how I would interact with the senior actors. The seniors and the director were all surprised by this."
Fellow guest and actress Kim Sung-ryung couldn't hide her surprise after hearing this, saying, "Of course I was surprised. I've never seen anyone do that before."

Directly Responds to Past Criticisms: "I Didn't Know How to Act Back Then"
Yunho didn't shy away from discussing the past acting controversies surrounding him. He mentioned, "As I said when I was on the show last time, when it comes to acting, I can't get any lower."
Regarding the famous lines that had been criticized in the past, Yunho also responded, "I had memorized the entire script back then too. I just didn't know how to act."
