Jeon So-min's Brother, Jeon Wook-min, Reveals Business Failure Led to Delivery Work, Loss of Connections

Jeon Wook-min (전욱민, 38), the younger brother of South Korean actress Jeon So-min (전소민, 40), has recently been sharing updates on his personal Instagram. His frequent mentions of his sister have garnered unexpected public attention, even leading to offers from the entertainment industry. He recently opened up again, discussing the changes in his life after a business failure, admitting that not only did he face financial difficulties, but many people from his past also gradually left him.

On January 9, Jeon Wook-min shared a daily life video on his personal account, reflecting on his experiences over the years, particularly regarding "connections." He explained that elders used to tell him, "With connections, you can achieve anything." As a result, he actively sought to meet various people, even enduring occasional disadvantages and pushing himself, hoping to maintain those relationships.

However, after his business failed, he looked back at 38 and realized how few people were left around him. He admitted that, in retrospect, some people might have initially befriended him because of his status as an "actress's brother," even seeing him as a channel to meet his sister.

What frustrated him even more was that many people he once considered close eventually asked him to introduce them to his sister or seek career assistance. When he refused, their relationships gradually distanced. However, Jeon Wook-min did not blame them, instead admitting that he, too, had unintentionally viewed others in a similar way in the past.

He lamented that at 38, he had lost a lot: "money, people, and my original job" were all gone. Yet, it was only after losing almost everything that he truly got to know himself for the first time, stating, "After losing everything, it felt like I met my true self for the first time."

Amidst this low point in his life, Jeon Wook-min recently received his first opportunity in his acting career. On August 30, he excitedly announced that he had received an acting offer. Although the role was a brief appearance with few lines, it was a precious starting point for him. He described it as "the first time a dream felt like it was truly touching reality," and he hopes this performance will be the first step towards a bigger stage.

Regarding his pursuit of an acting dream, Jeon Wook-min had previously admitted that he lacked an impressive acting resume and had not saved a large sum of money. He emphasized, "My sister being a celebrity doesn't mean I'm rich," clarifying that his sister's earnings were unrelated to his own.

In fact, Jeon Wook-min gained attention after his business failure led him to work part-time as a delivery driver. At the time, he revealed that while his sister was a famous actress and he had dreamed of becoming an actor since childhood, once he embarked on this path, he discovered that the obstacles were "higher and thicker than imagined."

Now, having finally secured his first acting opportunity, Jeon Wook-min will start anew from scratch. Whether he can gradually shed the label of "Jeon So-min's brother" through his own abilities remains a point of public interest.
