Rapper Tymee Announces Surprise Marriage: "Met the Person I Want to Spend My Life With"
Tymee (타이미), known as "Korea's fastest female rapper," a songwriter and pianist who has appeared on numerous music competition shows, has made a surprise announcement that she is getting married.
Tymee shared the happy news on Instagram on the 19th, sweetly revealing, "I'm getting married. I've met someone I want to spend my life with, someone so precious that I want to see them every day and am willing to give everything I have without hesitation."
She also wrote emotionally, "Now, I want to leave behind those difficult and lonely times and start a new life with the person I love." Tymee added that she will continue to create music, hoping to "create beautiful works for this world and bring comfort and happiness to more people," and looks forward to a happy life with her beloved.
Tymee is scheduled to hold her wedding on September 13, officially embarking on a new chapter of her life with her partner.
Born in 1985, Tymee debuted in 2009. She gained recognition after appearing on Mnet's music competition show Show Me the Money 3 in 2014, and her popularity and buzz further increased after participating in Unpretty Rapstar the following year. Her sudden announcement of marriage has surprised and delighted fans, who have flooded her with congratulatory messages.
