South Korean actress Yoo In-na (유인나) recently recounted a bewildering past experience where a male admirer followed her all the way to a subway station, repeatedly quoting movie lines to get her attention. The encounter left her so uncomfortable that she eventually yelled, “Stop following me!” The incident remains vivid in her memory to this day.
In the latest episode of her YouTube channel, “Yoo In-na Radio” (유인라디오), released on May 14, actors Seol In-ah (설인아) and Kim Ki-bang (김기방) appeared as guests. The trio discussed topics related to dating and relationship woes, during which Yoo In-na unexpectedly revealed her awkward past encounter.
During the show, an anonymous listener shared that their relationships always began in spring and ended in winter, expressing a desire to break this “love curse” and asking for advice on maintaining long-term relationships. Kim Ki-bang suggested that the listener might be experiencing psychological pressure and advised them to build self-confidence and enhance their self-worth.
As the conversation continued, Yoo In-na recalled an incident that occurred when the film Friend was released. She revealed that a man who liked her followed her all the way to the subway station. Along the way, he kept mimicking iconic lines from the movie, such as “Have you eaten?” and “You go to Hawaii!”, attempting to capture her attention.
However, his actions did not charm Yoo In-na; instead, they made her deeply uncomfortable. She confessed that she found his behavior extremely off-putting at the time and couldn't help but directly stop him, saying, “Don’t do that! Be quiet!” hoping he would cease his pursuit.

To her further dismay, the man was wearing tinted glasses, and one of the lenses suddenly fell out mid-pursuit. Yoo In-na recalled that she then sternly warned him again, “Seriously, stop following me!” before walking away.

Even though years have passed, this experience remains fresh in Yoo In-na’s memory. She described the scene as something out of a drama, still vivid in her mind.
At this point in the discussion, Yoo In-na asked Kim Ki-bang how he would react in a similar situation. To her surprise, Kim Ki-bang humorously replied, “I’d just pull off the other lens! Take both off and wear them as regular glasses!” His unexpected answer sent the studio into laughter.
Yoo In-na was also amused by his quick wit, laughing as she praised him, “There’s a reason you’re favored by beautiful women!” What began as an uncomfortable memory was transformed into a hilarious segment thanks to Kim Ki-bang’s clever response.
